Plan once, then reuse the structure
Create a checklist that covers the whole episode: topic, guest brief, recording, backups, edit, review, artwork, show notes, transcript, publication, and promotion. Assign an owner and a due date to each step.
Group similar work together
Prepare a few episode outlines in one session. Record when your environment is predictable, and reserve a separate block for review. Switching between tasks constantly makes a small production feel bigger than it is.
Use clear file names and keep original recordings untouched. Store backups separately from the working copy, and check that the files can be opened before ending a session.
Publish, review, improve
Listen to the final export before publishing, test the links, and check the title and episode number. Keep a short record of what went smoothly and what slowed you down. Improve one part of the process for the next episode.
